We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office! During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. The first friendly face you will see is Kathy, our appointment coordinator and receptionist. She can help you with any questions you may have regarding your new patient information forms. You should receive a new patient packet prior to your first visit, so you may complete all the necessary forms before arriving at our office.

Next, our patient coordinator, Rachel, will take you to our consultation room to share additional information with you and where you will meet with Dr. Pfeiffer. We place importance on recognizing your long-term needs. After careful examination, Dr. Pfeiffer will discuss one of the following with you:

• Treatment is indicated now.
• Treatment is not needed.
• Treatment is indicated; however, Dr. Pfeiffer feels that treatment should begin at a later time. In this case, we will closely monitor your condition.

After we have evaluated your records, we conduct a treatment consultation to explain all aspects of your treatment in detail. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, and as such, we provide ample time to answer your questions.
