Office Coordinator

My name is Kathy, and I am Dr. Pfeiffer’s Office Coordinator. I have been a member of his team for 13 years, and I love my job!!!

I grew up in a small community in Southern California before attending the Dental Assisting program at Pasadena City College. I began working for a local orthodontist where I remained for five years as his assistant/receptionist..

I moved to La Verne, CA where I worked as a receptionist for two general dentists in the West Covina area. I was there five years before starting a family, at which time I decided to be a “stay-at-home” mom.

After visiting friends here in Yreka, my family and I moved to Yreka in 1987, seeking the small town environment where our children could grow up safe. In 1991 when my children were both in school, I returned to work for a local dentist until I came to work for Dr. Pfeiffer in 1993.

I have two children, Natalie (23), a recent graduate of the University of the Pacific and Ryan (20) an apprentice electrician in Southern California. I also have two older stepchildren and four beautiful grandchildren. I am so proud of all they have accomplished. Aside from the office, I love spending time with my children and grandchildren, as well as working in my yard, skiing, and shopping with my daughter.

As Office Coordinator I have the privilege of welcoming new and old patients, and I would love to welcome you to our practice!

Rachel

R.D.A., Treatment Coordinator

My name is Rachel Kegg, and I have lived in Yreka for 6 years with my husband Scott and our two sons, Jordan (4) and Ethan (2). I think Siskiyou County is one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived.

Prior to working for Dr. Pfeiffer 5 ½ years ago, I worked as a chairside assistant for both a general dentist and an orthodontist in Fort Bragg, CA.for 4 years. I started here in 2000 as a chairside assistant, however, soon after, I was invited to train as Dr. Pfeiffer’s Treatment Coordinator. Which means, I have the privilege of welcoming our new patients into the practice. I assist parents and or the patient to understand completely, Dr. Pfeiffers diagnosis and treatment plan.

My hobbies include spending as much time with my family as I can, taking black and white photos and I can’t for get shopping for shoes.

Aurora

R.D.A., C.D.A.

I was born in Venezuela, South America. I came to the United States when I was 22 years old and have lived in California ever since. I went to Modesto Junior College to become a dental assistant and moved to Mount Shasta in 1993. I have been married for 22 years to my husband, Mark, and we have two daughters. Crystal is 17 and Michelle is 14. I enjoy sewing, scrapbooking, card making, and I love baking and decorating cakes.

Jenny

My name is Jenny Parker; I was born and raised in Yreka. My family owned and operated a local clothing store business from 1962 to 1998, which I worked in and became a partner in 1981. In 1998 the Business closed it’s doors and my husband, son and I relocated to Oregon so my husband could do his 3 year Lineman apprenticeship with Pacific Power. After completing the program, we were able to move back to Yreka and live. Recently I have been hired by Dr. Pfeiffer and his team to train and become a Registered Dental Assistant, which I plan to accomplish within 18 months. My husband, son, and I enjoy snow skiing, and backpacking. We have recently started wake boarding in the summer which we all enjoy. I feel so fortunate to be able to live in this fine community and have a job which I truly love.
