Dr. Pfeiffer attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors, earning academic achievement awards and was an elected member into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national honor dental society. After practicing general dentistry for six years, Dr. Pfeiffer entered the two-year graduate program at Loma Linda University, earning a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. After graduation, Dr. Pfeiffer built a large, successful orthodontic practice in San Bernadino. But his heart kept pulling him to Northern California, and in 1990, he sold his practice and moved to Siskiyou County to become the only university-trained, resident orthodontist in the county. When he is not creating beautiful smiles or learning the latest technologies, Dr. Pfeiffer may be found riding his motorcycle on forest service roads, riding ATVs with his two sons on a sand dune, scuba diving in warm Caribbean waters or just plain jogging.
